The Irish Supporter's Club Chiba was established in 2002 to celebrate the Irish Soccer Team's decision to base their FIFA World Cup Camp（TM） in Chiba. The Club aims to harness the energy of all the citizens of Chiba Prefecture as supporter's of the Irish team and to give aspiration to the dreams of the youth of Chiba while all the time furthering international exchange in the sports, cultural, economic, transport and communications arenas.
The ISC hope that anybody who wishes to support Ireland and to participate in the welcoming not only of the players and management but also the many traveling fans and anybody involved will join us in our mission.
We hope that by expanding our network and mutual co-operation, we can make the Irish camp in Chiba 'Irish-like' and cover the town in Irish green and ensure all involved in the largest sporting occasion in the world enjoy themselves thoroughly!
We believe that unlike a Stadium location an Official Camp with the condition that only one team is assigned gives the people of Chiba, particularly the youth a huge chance to spread their wings in the future by furthering international links with Ireland and will be a lasting memory to all involved.
